45 years ago, today, Walt Disney World held her ground breaking ceremonies.
Held at the Ramada Inn in Ocoee, FL, Roy O. Disney, John Hench, Don Tatum, Card Walker, and other Disney leaders introduced the 1967 plans for the resort. Included in this display were audio animatronics, a large model of the Magic Kingdom and Seven Seas Lagoon, along with several supplemental exhibits detailing the resorts and coming attractions.

Snow White’s Scary Adventure
If you didn’t already know, Snow White’s Scary Adventures will be closing at Walt Disney World on May 31st 2012 (that’s Thursday). This week I’ll be sharing from pictures from this attraction which will be closing after a 41 year run in the Magic Kingdom in Florida.
I got to ride it in March when I was there… I insisted on it. I also tossed a coin into the wishing well as I passed. RIP Snow White’s Scary Adventures
I went to MK as a guest a few days ago on my day off. Rode it with a few other cast members. We had a moment of silence after.
